ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the effect of artificial dermis combined with KCI negative pressure suction device in the repair of scalp defect with skull exposure after the operation of scalp malignancy. Methods:From January 2016 to June 2018, 18 patients with scalp defect and skull exposure after scalp malignant tumor surgery were treated with artificial dermis combined with KCI negative pressure suction device. Results:Eighten patients had good wound healing after the first stage of surgery, and no infection occurred. The time for artificial dermis to complete granulation was 10-14 days, with an average of 12.1 days. After the second stage of skin grafting, the skin graft had a survival rate of 100%, with uniform color and good elasticity, without obvious scar hyperplasia or contracture. The postoperative follow-up period was 6 to 2 months, all the patients healed well without tumor recurrence, with good skin elasticity and friction-resistant, and they were satisfied. Conclusions:Artificial dermis combined with KCI negative pressure suction device is an effective and simple method to repair the scalp defect with skull exposure after tumor surgery.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the feasibility and application in quantifying the rabbit central nervous system by using magnetic resonance diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)sequences. Methods 12 normal New Zealand rabbits were used to scan the brain and spinal cord of rabbits by DTI sequence of 1.5T MR machine, and the normal apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)and fractional anisotropy (FA)values were obtained in the different regions of the brain and every spinal segment of rabbits,to analyse the characteristics and regularity of numerical changes. Results The average ADC value in the brain of rabbits was (0.87±0.08)×10-3mm2/s,the average FA value was 0.23±0.09;the average ADC value in cervical spinal cord was (1.05±0.14)×10-3mm2/s,the average FA value was 0.55±0.08.The average ADC value in thoracic spinal cord was (1.14±0.12)×10-3mm2/s,and the average FA value was 0.57±0.06;the average ADC value in lumber spinal cord was (1.20±0.12)×10-3mm2/s,and the average FA value was 0.61±0.06.Conclusion FA average value in the brain is lower than that in spinal cord (P<0.001),the difference is related to the distribution of nerve fibers and physiological curvature of spine.ADC average value in the brain is lower than that in spinal cord(P<0.001),this is related to the volume of spinal canal and the peripheral structure of spinal cord. The difference of FA value in the brain and spinal cord is higher than ADC value.

ABSTRACT

Prefabricated flap is so named as the skin flaps is prepared by prefabricating a circulation-rich skin flap by implanting a named blood vessel or a portion of fascia which is incorporated with rich blood supply. After the flap has been proven as a flap supplied by ample blood supply, it is transplanted to a wound as a local or free transplantation. The core of prefabricated flap is vascularization. Beside the different methods of prefabrication, vascularization can be facilitated by use of growth factors and cytokines, skin and soft tissue expansion technique, and biomaterial. Prefabricated flap is currently widely used in clinic. With the advances in the research of prefabrication technology and advances in its clinical application, prefabricated flap transplantation is becoming a promising strategy in wound healing.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore correlation between alexithymia and resilience in military personnel. Methods 2802 subjects were chosen by random cluster sampling to outline the military personnel resilience scale and military alexithymia scale. The data were analyzed by t-test,chi-square test,ANOVA,correlation analysis and multiple linear regressions analysis. Results The prevalence rate of alexithymia was 6.85%,while resilience was 6.60%.Compared to sea force (45.62 ± 11.25 ) and air force (45.32 ± 9.98 ) subjects, land force (47.92 ± 9.92)had significantly higher total score in alexithymia(P< 0.05 ).Compared to sea force (87.35 ± 12.15 ) and air force ( 88.58 ± 10.39 ) subjects, land force ( 85.73 ± 10.70) had significantly lower total score in resilience(P < 0.05 ).The total score and every factor score of subjects with alexithymia were significant lower than those of control group in resilience(P < 0.05 ).Every factor of Resilience Scale were mild negative correlation with every factor of Alexithymia Scale (P<0.01).Problem solving, volition, optimism and family supports were the main factors which had affected on the alexithymia. Conclusion The prevalence rate of alexithymia in military personnel is lower than ordinary people, but there are still issues in alexithymia and resilience, particularly in land force. The research show mild correlation between alexithymia and resilience in military personnel.
